IMS – Intergated Management System
In recent years, consumers have become particularly aware of the environment and the proper cultivation of products. In addition to the usual quality characteristics, they are now looking for new data, such as hygiene and food safety. In order to meet consumer demands and harmonize with national and international requirements, agricultural holdings must now rely on conditions that ensure the quality and safety of their products while respecting the environment in terms of their production method. In this light, Integrated Management Systems in agricultural production were created.
The Integrated Management System is an alternative to the conventional, environmentally friendly production method, according to which the producer drastically reduces the use of chemical preparations and the uncontrolled application of cultivation interventions. He is obliged to follow specific production rules, according to the instructions of a supervising Agronomist and to keep records of the practices he applies, with the aim of ensuring consumer health and protecting the environment.
In our olive groves we have installed and are implementing the Integrated Management System, with continuous monitoring and control throughout the growing season. Cultivation is carried out with the aim of protecting the consumer and the environment and results in the production of fine quality and safe products.
